Independence
There
is no requirement for QAS International to be associated with any collective
certification group, in fact its independence can be considered a benefit.
Where
a company has already documented its processes and procedures, identified
efficiencies, and implemented systems, QAS International can carry out
an audit and, if satisfactory according to the Standard, award a certificate.
The key requirements are:
1)
certification is against the ISO standard
2)
trained assessors are used
3)
due diligence is observed throughout the process.
QAS
International has been operating in France for some three years and enjoys
a close relationship with BASF. They have also operated in South Africa
for five years and have certificates issued in Holland and Germany. They
have helped more than 5,000 clients world wide through to Certification.
Trained and experienced Assessors
QAS
is required to utilise competent personnel and our assessors are International
Register of Certification Auditors (IRCA) Certified Lead Assessors or
its equivalent QAS Assessors are all experienced businessmen who understand
the practicalities of running a business, and can share best practice
wherever appropriate.
